Re: boat registration

where are you from? it differs from state to state. me in georgia i registered mine over the telephone which was a transfer of ownership and registeration renewal. 10 minutes and 42 dollars later i had a registeration good for 3 years. was given an approval code instantly that was good to use until my card and new declals arrived. 5 working days later i had my stuff. but i was told that it could take up to 60 days to receive it. and of i hadnt recieved my packet in 60 days to call back and check the status of the process. of course i did my registeration during febuary so i am sure the operator had to wake up from a nap to take my call. lol so hang in there buddy i am sure its "in the mail". its perfectly legal to use as is as long as you have proof you have sent the pape work in. (eg. copy of check sent in or a confirmation number received from the operator depending on the method of renewal. and also depending on state. as my experience was in georgia.

Re: boat registration

Call whoever you sent it in to and ask them! Asking on here is pointless, as it varies by state, and obviously you registered right in the busy time of the year. Also, mail gets lost, its not entirely impossible it never showed up.

In Ohio, I went to the DMV.
They had it in my hand in about 3 minutes. :joyous:

Re: boat registration

In December the dealer sent my info to DNR Raleigh NC and handed a temp registration. The originals arrived in about 10 days.

Re: boat registration

In Ohio, boat registrations are handled by the Dept of natural Resources - Watercraft Division. There is no wait at all. You pay the money, they give you the registration.
