Boat project - What should I do?

Well I haven't be able to show you guys the boat I boat about 4 months ago. Used this for the Summer and now it's my winter project. Should I paint it? It will need a new bottom coat but I might just be able to bring out the gel coat on the top. Hope these pics work. 1965 Larson 14ft runabout.

i would try to bring back the original shine. larson made nice little boat.

yeah, i agree. if you can bring back the original gelcoat shine, do it. nice boat, by the way, nice colours.

Thanks for the input thus far. I think I will go with the orginal plan of bring out the gel coat on top. I also plan to replace the faded and scratched winshield, replace all coroded chorme pieces, replace gauges, redo the floor and some other things to make this a friendly fishing vessel.
