I've never heard of a prop lock on a system, but that doesn't mean anything.
Best thing you can do is make sure you post make, model, HP and year of your engine. You also may want to post in the proper forum under engine repair and maintenance. Give a little more detail about what's going on.
There's plenty of really good advice out there from great guys, but they will need more information than what you've given them. Welcome in.
