Does any one still use a straight marine enamel? How well does it hold up to abuse? I use my 25' boat almost everyday. It has to be cleaned every day resulting in water sitting on the deck for prolonged periods.
Thanks,
Gene

Re: Boat paint

About the closest people use to straight enamel is the rustoleum marine. I used interlux last time I painted.

The primary advantage to rustoleum is the ese of touch up.

Short of fiberglass, vinyl or bedliner coating I imagine most enamels will not hold up as long with standing water.
