boat not steering properly

hey guys... got a 1992 tracker and when i let go of the wheel we make a hard right! the engine is not original with the boat but does seem to be centered correctly. I also tried to adjust the dial on the "fin" of the motor to no prevail. aany suggestions?

Right hand prop? Left hand prop? Which direction did you adjust the 'fin'?

Don't do that
