my boat is 17ft ranger with a mercury 150 on a 6 inch jackplate, my boat seems to set low on the left side while running down the lake. someone told me to raise my motor on the opposite side. i lost my steering tab a couple of weeks ago but that wouldnt cause it to torque low on one side would it.i have one battery on each side of the boat so weight is even. it runs low whether im by myself or have 2 people in the boat. what do i need to adjust.

did the problem exist before you lost the steering tab?

Does it only sit low when you are underway, or does it sit low when you are not running as well?

the boat sits in the water level, from take off to wide open is when it torques, had a friend tell me the tab being gone didnt matter but maybe it does, nothing has changed on the boat other than losing the steering tab, i thought maybe my motor was cocked over to one side but didnt know for sure
