If you seen a boat motor in a movies or tv show new or old, Antique would be better take a guess what it is if you don't know post the movie anyway in background or not.

Sometimes a great notion, late 60's Evinrude 18 hp-25 hp used a lot in film.

Grown ups, 1955-57 Green Johnson with pressure tank kind not in good shape in background.

A Team(2010) late 40's Champion in background in beat up shape

Abbott and Costello meet frankenstein, 1920's Johnson on rowboat at end of film not being used.

Great idea for a thread, Bail-A-Matic. I'll have to think on this one for a while! I saw an old late-1950's Perry Mason show a couple weeks ago, I think they had a Johnson on the back of an overloaded runabout.

I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but since it's so famous, I thought I should mention it here: The James Bond "Live and Let Die" boat jump scene. There seems to be some confusion about which motor was actually used.

We were just talking about that the other day on here, in the thread about boat chase scenes.

Maybe the confusion is mine & I misinterpreted the poster: "Interesting to note is that the '73 catalog lists the max hp of the GT150 at 90hp." I guess that doesn't mean they didn't overpower it for the jump. Makes sense if you intend to fly a boat.
