boat/motor performance result

Have a '87 15' boston whaler sport. Does anyone have same with a 40hp yamaha 4 stroke that can give me an idea of performance results. Thanks!

My brother-in-law had a 15 ft. Whaler with a 40 HP Honda motor and it was a Very sweet rig, seemed to have plenty of speed, but no speedo, so I'd guess about 35 MPH....maybe a bit more?....

I agree similar setups run 32-35 mph.
