Hey everybody!, first time poster here -
I am having a Hydro Hoist boat lift installed for my 23' tri toon. I think its spec'd for a 5000 lb lift. They will setup a inflator station on the dock that will plug into a 120 V power pole set to be installed lakeside.
I am investigating alternate power to inflate the lift pontoons.
I found a company called LakeLIfter that sell turnkey DC conversions charged by a solar panel.
I think I can connect a 1800 w DC Inverter to run the inflator from my boat battery for alot less $$.
I could rig a 80CUFT scuba tank to fill the lift pontoons.
For now, I am only planning on raising the boat once a weekend when we leave the lake on Sundays.
Anyone have any suggestions to alternatives to AC120 to power a boat lift?
