boat ladder

I have a 1993 bass tracker 18 foot bass boat. I would like to put a ladder on my boat has anyone installed a ladder on a bass boat. If possible can you tell me where you got it and maybe a part number and also how you installed it I bought one from bass pro but I think it was to long it seem like it want to go under the boat when trying to get in the boat. Any help with this would be great.

Years ago I used a portable boarding ladder. It was inexpensive and it could be moved most anywhere in the boat to retrieve skiers, or removed from the boat if you were fishing. I bought it from a marine supply in Dallas. You can probably obtain one here on iboats or most anywhere marine supplies are sold.

My review is #11 and has a tip or 2 about how to mount it on an aluminum boat.

I installed this ladder as a safety feature more than anything. My boat is a deep V and I do a lot of fishing over cold water in the winter... not easy to climb into a boat with heavy wet winter clothing, let alone a Deep V.
