Hi All
Thanks in advance. I am considering a Southwind 2400 SD and I am an overseas buyer.
I am looking for a recommendation for someone to do a pre purchase inspection report. It’s got a Yamaha 250hp outboard on the back.
Can anyone recommend someone around this location and what would you expect pay for a pre purchase report.

I sold a boat to a guy in Australia back in 2000. Even with shipping, his cost was about 1/4 of buying a boat there.

Thanks for your concerns. Yes that’s exactly why I want to get an independent inspection.

I have done my figures and even with shipping. It’s a good deal at current exchange rates.

I can just googlle boat mechanics but hoped someone may have a recommendation.

Perhaps hard to find the ----" perfect boat "----In Australia.-----In some parts of the world there are huge luxury taxes on new boats.----Used can be a good deal if you are capable of doing your own upkeep.

Cheap. I can ship a 40’ shipping container full of equipment to SE Asia for less than $500 USD plus customs fees

It costs me more to have the contents fumigated and sealed than the actual shipment

These big container ships are just awesome.-------Just do the math on one full of shoes.-----Shipping comes down to mere pennies per pair.

You will also need to find somebody there to deliver and load it into the container then properly block and tie it down in the container for the trip....
