Hi all
Apologies if this isn’t the best place to post this.
I bought a house recently and the previous owner (a family member) left a boat on the property. He said he got it from a friend and that it was being set up to take a Lincoln 460 motor. Other than that he has no information on it. I dragged it out of the weeds to get a look at it and it’s clearly NOT a project I’m willing to invest the time and money into. However my curiosity got the better of me and I want to know more about this boat.

Things I know about it:
Fiberglass hull
Roundabout 17’6” bow to stern
Either was built or at some point converted to jet drive
Has NO HIN plate, manufacturer plate/sticker, or capacity plate/sticker and no obvious areas where it would have had one originally.
No manufacturer or model markings of any kind
Teleflex steering and gauges
It was registered in Maryland in 2018 but who knows what happened to it after that.

In Pennsylvania you’re not really supposed to sell or scrap a vehicle unless you have a title so I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this boat aside from make my family member take it with him! But any information you guys have would be wonderful.

Thanks

looks like typical mid 60's jet some of it looks like it was copied from a tahiti, some from other models.

good luck

Quite sure it isn’t, but not unlike the glastron cv18/20 jet boats. Always hard to tell with no windshield. Something similar anyway

make my family member take it with him!

All trash removed from property before the closing.

You could dispose of it by cutting it up into small pieces.

LOL that’s my next idea! He is a good cousin of mine and it was a real short notice sale so I gave him some time to move his stuff since I know where he lives! He will get it off the property but I wanted to see if it was worth anything before threatening to bring it back to him in pieces!

I don't know what it is, but it's cool. Imagine with only countless hours of you life that you will never get back Spent covered in fiberglass dust. Plus just a couple times the coast of it in good shape you could have a cool boat. I say this jokingly, but I keep doing it to myself over and over. All that aside I would think a dump or recycling place would still take it. Keep the trailer and sell it online. Should be worth a few bucks. You can't save them all, and in the shape it's in/ type of boat. It's just not worth it. Maybe post if for free and see if some sucker like me comes and gets it.

On a closer look that's actually a decent trailer. Some new tires and working lights and that's worth about 1500 bucks up here. Might be different market in the states tho

The trailer is ok. You’re right, could probably be worth a few bucks. I already have a number of other non-water based projects that I should probably take care of first before I can afford to catch another. We’ll see if I can pass the buck back to my cousin and if he doesn’t want it, I’ll trash the boat and do something with the trailer.

I'm seeing a "Suck-My-Wake" clone but that's just me.
