thanks for the reminder! It's been so long I can't exactly remember what year I took the USCG Auxiliary Boating Safety & Seamanship Course - 1968/72? It's been awhile, and it's easy to think that "I just know how to drive on the water"; WRONG!!
At least, I try to err on the side of caution and yield to all craft because you rarely can predict another skipper's intentions. And a "NO WAKE ZONE" doesn't mean that I can run flat out when my boat only makes a few inches of wake!!! lol
I'm old school and prefer hands on as to online classes, but they exist. This site (put in your zip code) will show classes in your area.
