Yes that is what you do. However on mine, you really can't tell that little triangle is missing so I didn't bother with itAnybody got any images or ideas on cutting corners on boat floor, not the lids, but the inside corners where the lids butt up? Do I cut a 45 degree angle , then cut a small triangle to fill in the gap ?
Thanks I thought so , just didn’t know if there was some trick to hiding the corners. Thanks.Yes that is what you do. However on mine, you really can't tell that little triangle is missing so I didn't bother with it
I cut the 45 short from the corner some so I could tuck it about half way down. So yea the little triangle doesn't really seem like its missing
A lid ?? It’s a compartment top. Has hinges , closes.Not understandable. What is a lid?
Regardless, carpets are outdated because they hold water and eventually the boat rots. Use Marideck instead.
Sent pics so we can figure out what you need.
Yes. The corners on the compartments (lids). I got it though , thanks .I think he's talking the salvage edge but what do I know???

If you can’t figure out what a (lid) is , then I’m pretty sure you can’t help. Not understandable. What is a lid?

If I didn't WANT to help I would not have replied. I have done several boat rebuilds so I do have some experience....especially with floor coverings. If you can’t figure out what a (lid) is , then I’m pretty sure you can’t help.
