Boat and trailer weight

Hi just wated to no how much a 19.5 foot 2003 bayliner Capri with a 135 mercruiser engine weighs with and without a trailer as my axel is broken and I'm not sure what size axel to get thanks for your help.

Welcome to iboats

Empty your boat w/o fuel, toys and gear is about 2100 lbs then you should figure about 500 more for the extra's

Get an axle rated rated at least for 3000 lbs to cover the boat trailer too.

Ayuh,.... Measure it at the axle quill, where the bearings ride...
That determines it's rating...

But if your like me, you do not know what an "axle quill" is.

So I looked it up...................
Axle quill = axle spindle.

So now we both know, :D

I agree with BobVT. I'd just get a 3500 pound axle. If your trailer doesn't have brakes I'd add those too.

Tractor Supply has great deals on 3500 lb axles if they have one to fit your application.
