I've seen a lot of boat-part misspellings over the years, this one takes the cake.

And they wrongly tried to add an apostrophe to every plural word, and they used a semicolon instead. That's a double fail right there.

I typically disregard any punctuation errors on CL. However, I do think that it makes the product much harder to sell when the seller seems to be so under-educated. I take my time when creating ads on the net, and if I am in question of one of the words or phrases, I always double check it. That ad is the face of your sale, ya know? I think a lot of the hard working country boys around here barely know how to type or get on the internet. But don't discount the fact they they may spend all of their time in the garage getting first hand experiences rather than reading books and getting degrees. I have found some great running cars, mowers and boats online when the ads looked like a 1st grader that was sniffing permanent markers wrote it.

Too many people grow up speaking the English language, but not enough reading(so they can actually see the words spelled correctly).....so they just try to spell them phonetically.

A ton of horrible spellers in this country.....pretty sad.

We certainly have our share of unedumacated people in this country. It looks to be a clean, decent boat. But I can't help but question this theory with the ad put forth for us to read. Like stated above, the wrenches have probably always been busy in the shop or field somewhere and have little book smarts, which in turn, could yield a hell of a vehicle. But I certainly would be hesitant to do business with them. You just never know. When I put an ad out there for anything, I am really anal about making sure everything is perfect. Everyone makes grammatical errors from time to time. Fact of life. But Open Bowel, HAHAHAHA!

Yeah you gotta love "Open Bowel". Heh heh. Y'all might have your fair share of illiterates, but FL is the wretched refuge. They seem to roll downhill from everywhere else.

Don't remember how we got on the subject of hors douvres but my lawn guy once told me how much he liked vienna sausages. Pronouncing vienna like vyena (ryhmes with "Hyena")?

Over the weekend I drove past a sign that read: "Hughe Garage Sale" ... Aie aie aie

Having said that I never hesitate to call on these kinda ads. You never know what you might find?

Nothing like mis-spellings to make one notice the add. Semi used in place of coma...not to make plural. Misplacing it also makes one take notice...OR, the guy is one cup short...

Nice looking boat though.
