Blue Star Boats, Any one else have one.

I have a old blue star boat that I bought a few years ago and I am thinking about fixing it up and was just curious if any one else on here has or had a Blue Star Boat.

Mine is the Super Chief 120, I found info about them on fiberglass clasics.

Blue Stars line of boats look pretty cool. I would love to find a "Flightliner" (see attached picture)

I am going to be replacing the transom in the next few weeks.

Got the transom replaces and put my 15 horse 4 stroke on it. Launched in the pond to see how she sat in the water, Couldn't resist trying it out in the pond. I had just enough room to get on plane in the pond before having to shut down before crashing into the other side.

So then I loaded it up to take it to the lake for a test. With 2 people in it it ran really good. 19 mph on the gps. Went out for a solo run, not enough weight in the boat. it popped up on plane and the started to porpoise really bad, slowing down got rid of the porpoising, make a turn to head back to the launch and barely had enough boat in the water to turn.

I just acquired a Blue Star. I just bought a 15hp motor for her. Sounds like it is sized right. I need to know what the very first year Blue Star in Goddard KS manufactured the first boat.
