I have a 2004 VP GXI-E engine that has started blowing the F3 fuse in the fuse box on top of the engine. The fuse is labeled IGNITION. The fuse only blows when you turn the key to the prestart position. You can hear the fuse blow! Has to be a direct short. If it does not blow, with the key in prestart, the engine will start and run with no problems.
Last weekend I blew ten fuses. In frustration I removed the connectors to the Ignition Module and noticed they were twisted. Un-twisted the best I could and re-seated. Engine started right up. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, what did you find to be the problem.
Thanks!
