hi, i have a 200hp 1986 mercury black max that i discovered was leaking oil, so i pulled off the cowling and discovered that both of the clear tubing from the oil injection pump were broken and leaking. i replaced them but i now have an air bubble in the top of the line running from the oil injection system. i tried running it with a premix of 50:1 and bleeding the system using the silver bleed screw. lots of oil came out but the air bubble remained. i also tried to squeeze it out but nothing still. i'm not sure what this line is, my guess is that its the line that goes to the fuel and mixes? the air bubble will move while the engine is running but i'm not really sure if its getting any oil or not. before anyone says to throw away the oil injection system let me just say i plan on it next year but this year it's not really possible with me having my boat in the water 24/7 and nowhere to do it. i included a picture. if anyone knows what line this is and if its ok to run like this and the air bubble will work itself out please let me know. thanks!
(sorry for large picture)
