BV has been around for awhile now, except for his sudden disapperance approx 1.5 years ago. He posted his website detailing the in's and out's of why you should disable unused Windows OS services. Leaving open unused services on your OS is a major security risk, he shows you how to close these services and 'harden' your OS.
