black maxx 150 steering cables help

I have a 85 17ft astroglass w/ a 150 mercury black maxx i need steering cables replaced steering is real stiff cables say ssc72 12.5ft feb 85 on them cannot find them but i am really new at this stuff all help would be appreciated

That is a teleflex system and the cables are available from iboats Marine Store.

ok thank you went to take off do i need to take steering wheel and all off to get the cable out of my steering box
