Has anyone dyed or somehow changed a sunbrella or boat canvas color ? What product did you use?
I want to go from blue to black and off-white to black. I know a new canvas is the best option. But....

Only 53 days till scheduled launch date.

Nova, Since you want to go darker, why not try some Rit Dye? The black dye should not clash with the blue or white. Worse case you will get a blue-black and a grey canvass, respectively.

There is also automotive seat color in a spray can.

I too wondered if the Sunbrella material could be dyed. I wanted a navy blue top but for the $54.00 price tag I got it for complete including the frame, I didn't complain a lot. If it can be dyed then I would be willing to try it, otherwise I can live with it as it is.

Chris, thanks for the response.
I have played with "RIT" dye on another project. 90% successful results. However, in the washing machine the material I dyed does/did bleed.
My concern here was that rain would bleed the black out and stain my white gelcoat. The only seat cover spray I know of is for vinyl, I looked at that also.
I'm hoping some one has a sure cure. Perhaps my only alternative is to spend the money on a new sunbrella canvas.

I had a canvas bimini dyed. I did not do it myself.

The local dry cleaner offers a dye service. It think it was $20.00, about 3 years ago. It was a large (4 bow) top from a pontoon.

I went from white to dark teal green

The only reason I did it is because I knew white would be impossible to keep clean and the green also looked fine with the boat colors.

If you're using a dye you need to "set" the dye after application. A thorough soak in white vinegar is the usual choice for such a procedure.
