i have a 1988 lowe pro angler my bilge pump works i have taken it out and tried it but when you put water into the back of the boat it will not pump it out. the discharge is in the center of the boat under the engine my question is is there something like a ckeck valve that is supposed to open or is it clogged and how would you go about fixing it please help
