Found all the info I need in the resto forum.. Should have looked first.. Also am not putting a bigger engine on this thing until I get it all repaired and see how it actually performs with the engine on it now! Thanks for all the advice..

How are you measuring the speed? Some boat speedo's are not very accurate so I would check the speed with a GPS.

And here it is! My pain in the rear!! Am in the process of pulling the foam and patching the hull I did not find any rotten stringers as the floor and such was replaced not long ago! Why they didnt patch the hull is beyond me but oh well! And yes the foam is soaking wet!!

You need to replace the transom.!
