Big Judge got DUI!

In Bowling Green Ohio the state patrol station got numerous calls about a DUI driver. It was a state owned vehicle belonging a a Supreme Court Judge! She blew a .21 , Yep, they took her license, registration, and vehicle. <br /><br />I guess at first she drove away from the patrolman, and then stopped and asked for her license back. Then she tried to use her position go get her out. They took her in. Heee heeee!<br /><br />Servers her right!

Been all over the news here the last two days. If it hadn't be an Ohio Highway Patrolman, I could believe that the judge would have been "let go" or "escorted" home.<br />But Ohio State Troopers are the hardest of the hard, and they don't let much go without writing tickets!

I just wonder how this mans future is going to be. I know for a fact that stuff like this rolls downhill. What I can understand is that he did have the supervisor come out to do the arrest.

Not an Ohio Highway Patrolman.<br /><br />Have any of you ever lived in or driven through Ohio? The Ohio Highway Patrol is the most powerful traffic enforcement agency in the world. They don't take gruff from anyone. They are not to be messed with. They have such broad power, it's not funny. This judge is in trouble.<br /><br />I was surprised at how overly courteous he was being towards her. If that had been you or me, that video camera would have to be pointed at the back seat of his car, cause we would have been there the FIRST time he pulled us over! <br /><br />Funny how she ruled on a case involving cell phone calls to 911 to report impaired drivers! And she ruled that it was probable cause for them to stop & detain the accused driver! She is sunk!

TW, yep she was on video and it was the 911 calls that did her in. What do you wanna bet she is still driving without a license!

Hopefullythe old are ture. 'What goes around, comes around' and public would have justice done. IMHO, I would throw the book at her and loose the key to the jail door.

and it happened again, rank has it's privileges, a Pinellas County Florida prosecuter, Lydia Dempsey Warnell, known for being tough on DUI was herself arrested last fall for DUI while driving the wrong way on a one way street with her kids in the car and being involved in an accident. Her Feb. 2005 sentence was the result of a plea bargain to reduced charges, she received 18 months probation, picking up trash with the sheriffs crew, and 10 hours speaking to children about the dangers of drinking and driving. KaGee, I didn't get the impression they were going "lite". It sounds like any first time offender can refuse the breathalizer, get the automatic 1 year susp, but then actually plead guilty or no contest to DUI, and at least get to make a case as to why you need a license. That's what I read. She'll plead, and then the judge will decide whether to keep her suspension intact or modify it.

T.....<br /><br />The prosecutor is under fire here because he is not charging her with a couple of things that he would have charged you or I under the same circumstances.<br /><br />She took off on the officers... you think you or I wouldn't have ended up hogtied in handcuffs after that??
