I am installing a new BF150 on my striper1851. I have been unable to purchase a current rigging manual for the job - Honda doesn’t have them in stock- so it’s been a bit frustrating. I am stuck on what seems like it should be the easiest thing ever, connecting the smaller 6 pin connector of the control cable (wire) to the motor. The 14 pin connector is easy to find but I cannot find the 6 pin. Is it unused? The bf150a manual ssys its for the indicator light. What is it for and where does it connect? Thank you for any help.

To update this post- I think the question comes down to what main wiring harness (going from ignition to motor) is needed for the Honda BF150D BBTJ-1005448. The mechanic gave me 32205-ZY6-020AH to install. There are two connectors on the motor side of the harness. The small 6 pin doesn't seem to go anywhere and the I just realized the the large 14 pin doesn't fit the motor connector. Is this the wrong harness?

Well, if anyone finds themselves in my position, just wanted to share that the shop did sell me the wrong harness. The 2023 or 2024 BF150 takes a new harness that has a square connector. Kicking myself for not double checking but I assumed the shop ordered the right parts.....you know what they say about assuming. Now I have the unpleasant task of undoing the rigging and returning the harness, which they will refund, but the new harness is $100 more. Salt in the wound...:p
