I have a 1991 sepro centra 190. The transom is shot along with the deck. The foam is wet. The boat has 4 different live wells. Do i seperate the hull or do i just cut out the deck? From what i can tell the live wells are part of the deck. Plus the deck wood under the fiberglass has to be replaced as well.

It's an IO....... split the hull which will be the quickest and most effective. Sounds like it all has to come out....transom.....foam ......deck wanna bet on the stringer's too??

I figured while i was in there everything is getting replaced... The wife got it from her father who passed away. So spending a couple of thousand on it to restore it isn't an issue. Plus once i'm done i'll know it's a safe reliable boat for some chesapeke bay fishing and crabbing

Removing the cap will give you complete access to everything you need to repair/replace, making the job easier. But its not mandatory.
