Being new to the boat restoration world, I'm curious about the different choices out there for restoring a great finish. I have a 1975 Fiber Form Tri-Hull which is oxidized badly. Doesn't look like it was ever waxed. Should I use a formula for boats or one used for Fiberglass cars?
The previous owner had also put on an undercoating to protect against sea life when he went up and down the intercostal waterway. It is now a faded black/green. What can I use to bring it to life, or should I just repaint over it with another undercoat paint? If the latter, then what brand and color? My boat's main color is yellow.
