i have a Obrien Screamer tube. i have the 2 person version from last year. its red and retailed for 160 i believe. its a sweet heavy duty tube. it isnt as thick as alot of other tubes, it is a pretty slim profile maybe 6" instead of the donut style. the outside vinyl is very strong and thick. it also has 6 handles and non slip pads as well as 2 nylon handles to help you get up onto the tube.

Mine blew out of the boat will towing the trailer home attached to the rope still, and got caught between the trailer fender and tire doing 50mph. it only made a 6" L shaped rip in the vinyl. The tube bladder itself was fine minus some black rubber scuff marks from the tire. i havent even patched it and we used it probably 100 times after that and the rip barely got any bigger. and we tube 2 200 pound guys wippin around into sharkwater (when waves over lap) getting ten feet of air and getting dumped. aka it took abuse. i believe Dicks sporting goods sold it as well if u dont feel like paying shipping. and i think Evo.com or The-house.com had some tubes on clearance. both are good sites if you snowboard ski or wakeboard.

I probably have a dozen tubes and the one that we always go back to is the Airhead Fusion, it has a cockpit in the middles and a deck on either side for a rider so its designed for 1,2,or 3 people. what we really like though is using it as a single rider its so wide it wont tip over and is very stable, basically as long as you hold on you will stay in.

We have Obrien Super Screamer. Great for the older kids and adults that don't mind laying down and hangin on. But for the little ones (and my wife) we just got Connelly Dually Deluxe towable this year. Very heavy duty and a great one for cruising the lake.

Big Mable is the best out there.

I have not used any other tube. But I will say that Big Mable gets many thumbs up from my boatload of riders and from the driver, too.

i've tried donut tubes and flat tubes, the flat tubes easily take the lead better on corners and you dont ruin your back like those old school donut tubes. i am 22 and i go with a 2 person tube riding solo there is more then enough room for another. i've accualy put my 26 yo sister and her 5 yo on it and they have fun cruising. i play around jumping waves and getting on 90 degreee leans in the tight corners.

+1 for barf ball if it wasnt $600. and i knew i could fit into it i might start saving. some tubes are awsome but they cost to much for my blood.
