i allways carry a jack stand and wood chocks in my travel box because you can get flats in some places were the jacking surface is really bad and you need a lot of stuff to do it saftely

I like to have a block of wood between the frame and the jack. Keeps from scratching the frame, and seems to help reduce the chance of slipping.

I notice that tommays picture shows an X wrench. Another great item to keep. Those lug nuts always seem to be much tighter when you need to loosen them.

I would suggest you add a pair of gloves.
