I am curious as to whether the Evinrude outboard manuals from Ken Cook.com or the Clyborn manuals are better? I have my first outboard but no manuals. Is it worth it to pay for the owners manual along with the service manual?
The motor I have is a 75 Evinrude 50 "Sizzler". Any opinions? It is on a 16' Crestliner bowrider. Powerful enough for a family of three?
Thanks

Re: Best Service Manuals

Not sure about Jonnyrudes, but the Clymer manual has much more detailed info in it,for the Force and Mercs.
The "how-to" info is stepped-out better, but the pictures (photo quality)
aren't as good as Cook. My vote is for Clymer.

------------------
the Early bird get's the worm...So, he don't have to stop for bait.
