My choice would be a 19ft aluminum cabin cruiser with a 6cyl i/o. Cheap enough to make nice, light enough to pull. My buddy bought a salmon troller off lake superior for 3k, pulls it with a ridgeline. His is a 4cyl mercruiser though, not quite enough juice to get it up on plane. 25 k will buy a beautiful boat, but youre almost better off spending half and buying a bigger truck with the rest.
Also alot of the lakes in wa, a big boat isnt practical in the least bit. Puget sound is an amazing place to boat, i agree. Just my two cents
