1987 Bayliner 2150 Ciera Sunbridge Aft-Cabin. :)
Nice trailer!

Not so sure what Bayliner was thinking with all the red/white/blue in those days. They could have easily skipped the red.

I'm definitely a fan of the late 80's, early 90's Formulas... I'm partial though, because I just bought a 90 Formula 242 a few weeks ago!! I was looking at newer boats, but I absolutely love the styling and functionality of the Formula 242 SS... Plenty of cockpit space, but capable of 65mph.. Not to mention the quality of Formula is excellent! I upgraded from a 19' bow rider, it was a great first boat, but too small and too slow!

The '92 Chaparral 2550 SX Sport is a looker w/ classic lines. At I think so (that's why I bought her).....

Glastron's Scimitar was an early 80's boat - probably one of the more unique and cool looking boats produced. Don't think it was real practical, but definitely had a WOW factor.

Bayliner Arriva
I was going to say the same. There's one 2 slips over from my boat in this pic i took last weekend from our lunch table at the Chesapeake Inn. Not a good shot of it. They are nice looking.

It's not the greatest photograph, but I'm kinda partial to the boat.;) I love her lines. She's got a nice sleek hull design. She cuts through chop very smoothly (and looks darn good doin' it!!!)

I must admit, though, I think the nicest looking hull designs from the 80's/90's are by Sea Ray; and truely the most incredible... Grady White.

...But here's mine.:)1025100830a.jpg

There's so many great designs out there, I couldn't pass by this thread without nominating my beloved Doral with it's clean lines...

I have to admit that the Glastron Carlson line-ups are probably the most unique and best looking boats from that late-70's to mid-80's. The regular Glastrons are classics in their own right, but the Carlson editions are pretty amazing. The CVX-20, the Scimitar, the Intimidator, the CV-27. All pretty unique in that class of boat.

Agreed! That and the Eclipse series are my iconic 1980/90's boats!
Around that time we had a wellcraft dealer on our lake, we still have alot of old ones running around although some are looking rough.
Yeah I agree the scarabs and the eclipse series were hot... My 216 eclipse still has style 22 years later....

Not a very experienced boater here, but I love the looks of my Newman 203. Of course I am biased. Yes it is all original, little time capsule!
