Best leather shoulder holster for daily concealed carry?

I've got one Bianchi leather belt one for my 45 and a military flap/hip holster, for my H&K VP9, a plastic Safari land, but I'm outside lots, t-shirt and shorts, thinking an underarm, vertical shoulder holster. My Berretta 22 LR DA tip up is small enough for pocket carry, although a bit small in caliber.

I do NOT have one so I can't speak from experience but I have been looking too. I am drawn to the Galco Miami Classic.

I've never liked the shoulder rigs. I don't care for the way you draw from them. Summertime is usually a pocket gun.

I use a clever little holster that you can wear however you like on the waist line totally exposed if you like and most people would never know it was a holster. It is called a Sneaky Pete Holster. It doesn't look like a holster but more like a cell phone holder. Nice compact and doesn't draw attention either. Take a look for yourself and see how you like that look. And if you really need to through people off, wear one and take a little clear tubing and put some red food coloring in the tube (sealed at each end) and put one part in the holster and the other in your waistline. People would think it was some medical device...never a gun holster ever!

I use a clip-on, in-the-waistband for my browning Hi-Power, 9mm. It's a bit large for conceal carry.

I leave my t-shirt out over it during the summer.

It clips onto my belt. I can wear it inside the waistband or between my pants and belt with the muzzle in my pocket.

My buddy - retired cop, now in Idaho and working at gun store P/T and P/T as deputy (LOL) sent me a pic of the belly band, he'd send me at cost, says it doesnt wear out like leather etc - we trained together years ago, known since 7th grade, look easy and quick to put on, cheap, would work for VP 9 and extra mag(which I dont need as it carries 15) , I'll keep researching

Same here. If I would have trained for years with one I may be more comfortable but I never liked the cross draw and the muzzle aime towards my support arm. When you are used to drawing and moving your support arm up to either push off if needed or support you gun hand at the same time it is a hard habit to get away from.

I prefer a strong side carry, but that's often impractical for me - so, if not in the pocket, I usually have mine in the small of my back. It is what you trained with until it becomes instinctive. I worked with a fellow for a couple of years who was a retired federal officer who's uniform was suit and tie. He was as slick as you know what on a hot tar road with a shoulder rig when we used to practice for fun. He was just as good though with our regular duty belts.

I waant something concealable with shorts and a t shirt - our normal wear for 9 ish mos in central, TX small of back may work

^^^ I have a little belt clip holster that works inside my belt. I tuck the .380 the small of my back and untuck the tshirt. That's been my best option. The 9mm will fit that way, but it's pretty uncomfortable.

My little Sneaky Pete holster is for a Colt Pocket Nine, which is a DA 9mm stack fed magazine setup. Very small and therefore very easily concealable too. Colt stopped making them a number of years back now. And if you can find one now, better have some big money. When I carry it, seems no one even realizes it is a concealed carry setup. It also fits in the pocket very well too. Hence the Colt Pocket Nine name. And since I reload everything, no one has a clue what I've got loaded in the rounds. Never ever want to be on the receiving end of them!

The only time I ever wear a shoulder holster is when I am hunting with a scoped Thompson Contender pistol. And the real reason for a shoulder holster than is because it has a 10" barrel, that wearing on a typical waist would have the barrel sticking out way low. So shoulder holster keeps it up for a more comfortable carry to the deer/wild boar stand and out again.

Me and two buddy's figuring on belly band types, around central , TX we are shorts and tshirts for at least 8 months a year, hot and humid and theyre darn affordable and adjustable, now to see which model - for me H&K Vp9 and Colt 45, and Berreta 22

Holster on the way, had to get another "friend" for it G43, fits perfect for my big hands, damn good price, GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!!
