I would then get a subscription to Boating Magazine and Saltwater Sportsman. Read cover to cover each month. You'd be surprised how much general knowledge you pick up from the various articles. Even the boat tests teach you something.
yep, chapmans is the book to get. although it's not salt water speicific. it does cover many aspects of boating.......it's sure a real thick book..... lots of info in it.......
