I have a bent powerhead stud and the part from Mercury shows no longer available. I also do not see any on ebay. The part is 16-64282 for an inline 6 cylinder 115hp. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Thanks!

A list of salvage yards and dealers of old parts can be found in the sticky's at the top of the page. One of them should have the part bolt that you need. A good hardware store might have a stainless bolt that could be used also.

Those studs are SAE threads on the block side and fine thread on the midsections side. An SAE stainless steel threaded rod could be cut to length, if you have no other option. You would need a new SAE nylon lock nut as well.

Jeez , why not just remove the stud, warm it up with a heat source, lay it in a V-block, and straighten it with a hammer? This aint rocket surgery.l
