Bennett trim tab fuse blown

For the 2nd time. Does anyone know why or what I should look for? Maybe I held the switch too long when the tabs reached their limits or...?

You cannot push one switch "bow down " and the other" bow up"
Both switches must move in the same direction or only one moves at a time.

This will blow the fuse? I do adjust them independently and maybe I inadvertently pushed them in opposite directions? I will be more aware from now on thanks to your post.

You only do that once.
