the steel line is just flared 3/8" tubing you could reflare it or use a compression fitting to reassemble it as well

Sierra sells, or at least used to, a flexible pressure rated fuel line with proper end connections for mechanical fuel pumps.

Hose clamps are not acceptable for the pressure side of the fuel pump, only the vacuum side
