My Alpha 3.0 is 12 years old, and although the bellows all look fine I'm being told they should be replaced. How big of a job is this and how much should I expect to pay to have this work done?
NOT THAT BAD U DO HALFTA REMOVE THE STRNDRIVE ONLY BECOSE OF THE SHIFTER CABLE BUT IF U ONLY DO THE EXHAST ITS NOT THAT BAD U DO NEED TO KNOW WHAT UR DOING OR U WILL BREAK THE SHIFTER LINKAGE .I WOULD INSPECT THEM IF THERE STILL PLYIBLE AND NOT HARD ID LEAVE THEM ALONE..sorry for the caps
I do have a manual and I have taken the lower unit off before. The manual does speak of some special tools and glues you need for this job which leads me to believe that maybe a professional should do it, which is why I'm trying to determine how big of a job this is. I can call a dealer and get a price but I suspect it will be steep.
