Bellows Question on 125 Force

Because of an incorrect thrust washer being put on this motor by the previous owner, the exhaust was backing up into the motor housing which in turn melted (what I think was) the tattle-tale tubes (where water come out) that lead from the motor to the cover. The piece in question looks like a round rubber tube that has a spring on the inside and a (melted) piece of plastic in it. Any recommendations on where to find replacement parts? Or am I wrong in my guess of what the part is?

You got me there. I wish you had a pic of the tube or what is left of it. But it might just be a wire-reinforced hose,(like a small radiator hose) and you might be able to find one at an auto parts store.

I can snap a couple of pics if that would help, but I'm thinking that the plastic piece were the nozzles the water was pumped out through (where the motor peed?). Let me know if you'd like a couple pictures.

It's the exhaust relief bellows. If it melted, it has nothing to do with prop hardware. You need a new water pump. You can get those parts from any Merc dealer.
