Being temporarily boat-less!

It's a weird feeling! Sold and delivered the old one Sunday and going on day 2 with nothing in the spot! Granted we have something picked out pending further inspection but our weather has delayed that. Even though I haven't been boating in a few months it feels different in not a good way!

Re: Being temporarily boat-less!

My family did that once a couple summers ago. It was only about a month and we were going stir crazy, I remember sitting on the patio with the kids in a kiddie pool calling our friends to see if they wanted to come over and thinking "this is no fun". A common phrase around our house in the summer is "what do people without a boat do all weekend?"

Luckily we're fortunate enough that this is considered a problem....

Sold the Baja in late August 2012...went all of 2013 boating season w/o a boat...hopefully, never have that again...lucky for us a few friends have boats, so we were able to get some water time...although, it's not the same.

X2 on Brian 26's statement

I have the opposite issue. Bringing home the new one on Saturday and the old one on Sunday. Garage is going to be a bit full for a while.

Sounds like a massive garage if you can hold 2 boats in it!

Just a normal 2 car garage with a 16ft door, before they started making them the depth of a Honda ;)

Pikers! You call that a garage? Mine holds 3 cars, a jetski and a boat. We keep the trailer attached to the car so we can go out day after day without worrying about hitching up again.

The little garage in the back only holds 3 boats. But for winter storage I can slip the boy's 2 jetskis in as well.

Nice, now toss in a double height door so I don't have to fold down the towers and that would be my dream garage.

Re: Being temporarily boat-less!

So jealous of these garages:( When we bought our 2nd house the goal was to add a 2 car attached as that was the ONE feature we were missing in this purchase, 2 years later this isnt a forever house (New Jersey), and I can't justify sinking the money into a place when we won't ever get it back..... Someday:cold:
