Bearing buddies full of grease???

I recently installed bearing buddies on my boat trailer. I pumped grease in them with a grease gun until I seen the piston move outward...but as soon as I seen it move, I quit pumping. Was I supposed to pump more? I have pulled the trailer about 250 miles since I greased them. Should I pump more in til the piston moves further out???
I've posted a pic. I didn't want to blow the rear seals. Thanks in advance.

Grease is not a consumable.
If you packed the bearings correctly and filled the bearing buddy as instructed, you shouldn't need to add any grease until you pull the bearing out for inspection.

The piston moving outward indicates it is full of grease. Adding more grease can blow the seal out the back defeating the whole purpose.

Dont be confused by people saying you should add more grease, as you can add as much as you'd like with the ez lube system. Just don't do it with bearing buddies.

The question was if the buddy looks full by looking at the picture...the piston only moved a little before I quit pumping, am I good to go?

You can put a little more in but cease pumping before the piston hits the stops. Press around the edges of the piston with your finger. It should feel like it's floating on grease.

Bearing buddies must have a 1-800 # or talk to your local boat shop.
