1990 Bayliner Capri cuddy with a 120 horse Force Motor
I have owned the boat now for three years. I do have a trailer bracket for the motor but the motor only has about 10? of clearance to the pavement when towing. It's fine for highway but I usually need to tilt it up when I get to my destination so I don't accidently drag the pavement.
Currently the motor mount drops directly on the bracket, no hooks, locks or extension braces. Are there any other parts that I can purchase for the motor mount that will bring the motor further up when towing? More critically, am I missing a part that goes between the motor and the trailer bracket?
