Battery?

Battery prongs(?) seems to melt a lil by the main wires that connect to it. My buddy needs some help. Yall got some suggestions?

Never experienced this myself, my guess is the terminals on the wires need replacing. Strange its not my own boat(s) having problems! lol

The only thing that I can think you are talking about would mean a short or near short in the cabling. I am not aware of any charging circuit that could cause any of the wiring to melt.

Too much current through too little gauge wire/stak-ons

I agree with splat.
How old are the cables...they don't last forever.
I recently had the same problem on the main wire feeding the fuse panel - which had a pit stop at the ammeter gauge.
