My bow mounted Minn Kota troll motor is connected to a marine battery in stern, 14' boat, would it be better to have batt in bow to shorten length of connection cable for better efficency? Gas Motor is electric start hooked to same battery. Also any suggestions on what manuals to get for servicing 1973 Evin 25hp, I found one called Selco, are these any good? Or is it better to get one from a dealer? Thanks.
