I am about to hook up 2 ACR (automatic Combiner Relay) to my 12 volt system. I am trying to use my Alternator to keep all charged while running. When on shore power I have 2 seperate dual chargers.

Look over my diagram and make any suggestions.
Thanks

Yes it will work but I'm not sure it's optimized. Your AC bank could give you problems if a battery fails or has a different charging profile than the other. You could possibly but not very likely end up with one battery stealing the charge from the other. These batteries need to be matched.

Instead of using the A/C batery switch in "both"; run the batteries in parallel.

Why? This way he can isolate if need be. In the future I would get two 6V Trojan batteries instead of 2 12V batteries.

Connect the output of the alternator to the common of the top switch.

Yes, The added protection of being able to quickly isolate or turn off one of the batteries is what I was thinking. The batteries are matched AGM type 70ah each. Yes I should have used to 6v golf cart batteries with more am hours and a bigger AC unit.
