Looking to get an onboard battery charger for my boat possibly on Black Friday. Has dual batteries now but does anyone have either experience with the Noco Genius or Minn Kota? I know Minn Kota has a good rep but the price is almost double the Noco.

Looking for a 3 bank as I might add an 3rd battery. I like both these because it looks like each bank can be selected for different battery types and 1 of mine is currently a Lifo.

I can only tell you my experience with Minn Kota. I've had several over the years and I never had an issue. I currently have a MK 210 two bank charger in my Ebbtide 2660 and it does a great job of maintaining the two batteries. I had a big MK 460 four bank in a Bass Boat and it was fantastic and I had another older MK 460 four bank that I used for 10 years and it was 5 years old when I got it, never a problem. I can't say anything bad about Noco but I can tell you my next charger will be a MK:)

Had both, no issues with either brand. Choose carefully to be sure your charger matches the needs of your battery, can't afford a mistake on a boat..could be a long swim to shore !!
