hey guys, im planning on bebuilding the fron deck if my bass tracker 1800fs to make a bigger casting deck in the bow. i have a couple of questions for anyone with experience carpeting a boat with aluminum deck lids. do i need to get rid of all existing carpet glue or just the old carpet . also if using plywood is it necessary to use marine grade or can i prime regular 3/4" and make that work. thanks
