I have a 1995 Bass Tracker Pro Deep V-17.I am disabled,in a way.I have 2 prostetic legs and it makes it hard to fish standing up.So,I have been sitting and trying to bass fish.I was in a tournament yesterday.Well,my back hurts, lol. And there were only 13 boats in the tourney.Third place won 3rd place with 1 fish, lol.I need to know if anybody out there has any ideas to make a butt seat that will allow me to fish standing up.It has the Springfield bases and pedistals, like 2 1/2 inch diameter.I need a seat that will I can lean back into, seems that arm rests would help, just small though,I would not be able to sit into it,just lean back into it.I can stand all day.The back base is low on the floor. This model does not have a rear deck.Any ides will be helpfull.Thank you.

Check the catalogs like Pro Bass Shops, etc They have the bicycle type seats that allow you to stand while sitting, otherwise maybe a double posted type leaning post such as the type used for steering the boat only taller that would allow you to lean into like cruches under your arm pits that could be made to plug into two mounts in the deck like a single mount bicycle seat type. This would let you lean/sit as well as have support under your arms, when your done with it, lift it out and stow it until next time. max!

i think i can picture what you need you need an armed seat with out the bottom. just a back and fold up arms. it would be possible, to get a metal shop the make a pole that has a slight bend in the upper part, and mount a seat back with arms one it.

something like this with the seat removed, and mounted on a pole.
