BASS BUGGY 18 DLX - Adding a MinnKota 24V RipTide

[Hajames2041$2041]

Has anyone solved the problem with battery storage? Adding two batteries has become a problem. I don't want to put them in my storage under the seats. So does anyone have any suggestions?

There is only so much room on an 18 footer, either seen or unseen. If you use AGM bats then no need for ventilation, but lead acid will need it

That is good information, and it will save room. i was thinking about just leaving the cranking battery where it is. For the 24v trolling motor and other 12v accessories, add one 12v battery under the console, and add the second 12v batery in a battery box under the captains chair. Have you seen that done?

Have seen all kinds of places for bats, some not so good. What your thinking about sounds OK but have not seen the space my self
